Elected officials, educators, business leaders and advocates for kids will gather Friday at the Tacoma campus of The to discuss ways to increase the in Pierce County.
The Pierce County Graduation Summit, which is open to the public, is one of 100 such gatherings nationwide that is being coordinated by America鈥檚 Promise Alliance. The organization calls for solutions that include everything from curriculum reform in schools to after-school programs. , , and other groups that work with youth will help lead Friday鈥檚 meeting.
